About Us

The Zonta Canada consists of the 22 Zonta clubs and the five districts in Canada united in advocating for rights in Canada to build a better world for women & girls. Zonta International’s mission is to build a better world for women and girls. It shall promote Zonta International’s vision of a world in which women’s rights are recognized as human rights and every woman is able to achieve her full potential, where women have access to all resources and are represented in decision-making positions on an equal basis with men, where no woman suffers from violence.

Zonta International is composed of three levels of governance.  International maintains a board of directors and staff that oversees district and club operations. There are 32 districts in 64 countries where governance is by district, not by country, and over 1100 clubs worldwide.

There are five districts with 22 Canadian clubs.
