The proceeds from this preview performance will support the Zonta Club of Ottawa, Canada’s annual education awards and bursaries program for high-school and post-secondary girls and women in the National Capital Region. The Club offers 6 different awards each spring. The awards provide financial assistance for awardees to pursue their studies in several fields, including business and STEM. They also provide financial recognition for outstanding commitment to public and humanitarian community service, as well as to the theatre arts. Lastly, the Zonta Club of Ottawa offers an award to a new immigrant woman who is a single mother and is raising a family while working on her education at any level.
