Laaha – a safe space for women and girls online
Laaha provides information to women and girls on sexual and reproductive health and gender-based violence as well as where and how to access services when needed.
It is the first-ever platform designed by and for women and girls in humanitarian and development settings to address gender-based violence.
It provides information in a fun, creative and positive ways, straight into women and girls’ hands.
The platform was designed by and for women and girls with the support of UNICEF and its partners.
Laaha aims to
- support women and girls empowerment.
- share information on topics that are sometimes taboo or stigmatised.
- help women and girls who have experienced violence access available services near them.
Laaha was created by women and girls to share information about health, safety, violence, and relationships and how to access services when needed.
