The Zonta Club of Ottawa is proud to support ManUp! during this 2015/16 year.

ManUp! was created to raise awareness and reduce violence against women.

Zontian Helen Ofosu is our liaison with Travis Wing, a high school teacher who is assisting students.  “What started as a ripple of change,” writes Travis, “is starting to turn into a major wave. We are attracting the attention of kids and schools across the city. This week we are looking at talking with over 3900 kids! many of these kids have already contacted us and are dying to start making a difference. The kids know that we need to see change. The kids are dying to be the agents of that change … it is so amazing and so encouraging to see the power of children and to see them open up their hearts to our cause.”
On November 25th, 2015 the Zonta Club presented a cheque to students from ManUp! in support of their unique and what should be – a game changer in the fight again violence against women.
